IREHR’s Devin Burghart, Leah Henry-Tanner, and Chuck Tanner were honored to travel to Bend, Oregon to participate in the Rural Organizing Project’s annual Rural Caucus and Strategy Meeting on May 14.

Devin gave a presentation on “How the Far-Right Uses Constitutional Mythology to Mobilize Against Social Change,” a topic of much interest after recent standoffs in the state.  Leah and Chuck also gave a timely and important presentation on “Anti-Indianism and Attacks on Tribal Sovereignty.”
